STMicroelectronics, a global semiconductor leader, has been recognized for its leadership in corporate transparency and performance on water security by global environmental nonprofit CDP. ST is one of a small number of companies to achieve an “A” score out of nearly 15,000 companies scored by CDP. This annual environmental disclosure and scoring process is widely recognized as the gold standard of corporate environmental transparency. In 2022, over 680 investors and 280 major purchasers requested companies to disclose data on environmental impacts, risks, and opportunities through CDP’s platform. A record-breaking 18,700 companies responded.
“Inclusion in the CDP’s A List for Water is an important recognition of our continuous focus on water-related risks and comprehensive management approach,”
Rajita D’Souza, President of Human Resources and Corporate Social Responsibility at ST.
